Chetna NGO – Weekly campaign for child participation awareness completed with question and answer contest

Under the aegis of Chetna NGO and the HCL Foundation, a question-answer contest was organized with children on the last day of Child Participation Awareness Week to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the UNCRC. More than 150 children were participating, these children discussed different topics in different sessions each day, the opening ceremony took place on the first day,

Then on the second day there were discussions on child rights with children, on the third day there were obstacles in the world of dreams and on the fourth day there were obstacles in the world, and on the fifth day what were the qualities of a good leader and how you can become a good leader was discussed and the sixth The day the cap theory was discussed with the children, this theory revisited what was taught in the last 5 days and the mechanisms created by the government to get the rights of children were also told.

Today at the conclusion of the program on the last day, a Q&A competition was organized with the children. This competition was so far related to the information given to strengthen the rights of the children. The competition was conducted among about 100 children, which was edited in three rounds. The first place in this competition was Sandhya Verma, second Saloni, and third Rupa Chauhan, studying in class 8 of Government Girls Inter College Vikas Nagar. Children studying in government schools of Noida and Lucknow participated in this competition.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Punit Mishra, while addressing the children, congratulated them for the competition and said that whatever is the decision in today’s competition, all of you children are very talented and I hope that you all participate very well Will take Member of Child Welfare Committee, Lucknow, Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma Ji said that any child can contact the Child Welfare Committee at any time and we will cooperate fully in getting your rights.


Member of Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Children, Smt. Preeti Verma Ji congratulated the Chetna NGO and HCL Foundation for this program and said that you guys have given a very good platform to the children at this time where everyone is thinking that How to connect children with education at this time, you are connecting all the children with technology, at the same time I wish all the children all the best for today’s competition and promise that the Commission will always help you Will be ready.


This weekly program was conducted and organized under the direction of Bhupendra Shandilya Ji and in this program, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Ji coordinated with everyone and communicated the representatives of various government machinery to the children.

Teachers and principals of government schools of Noida and Lucknow as well as District Child Protection Unit Noida and other government mechanisms participated in this program.

The question was competed in 03 rounds, in which the children performed very well. A jury was also present in the program to judge the children, in which 03 judges judged them based on the answers given by the judges. Shri Pawan ji, Shri Pushpendra ji and Shri Abhilash ji played a very important role as judges in successfully completing the competition.
