A 25-year-old girl was burnt alive just 50 meters away from the police booth at around 10.30 pm in Kavinagar industrial area of Ghaziabad. His body was found near the statue of Syama Prasad Mukherji. It was in 100% scorched condition. When the police reached the hospital, the doctor told him dead. She could not be identified. Police believe that the dead body was thrown here after committing the murder elsewhere.
People passing by the park had informed the police after seeing the girl lying. The girl’s clothes were also completely burnt. Seeing the dead body, it seemed that part of the murderer’s conspiracy was also to try not to allow him to be identified. Under this, the face was also completely burnt.
Police say that she was burnt with some combustible substance like petrol and thrown near a tree. There were no signs of burning around. On this basis, it seems that his body was brought in a vehicle.
The police is checking the footage in the surrounding CCTV cameras from 9 pm to 10.30 pm. Nearby people were also interrogated till late night but no clue could be found.
Forensic team gathered evidence
After the police, the forensic team inspected the spot. Looked around that the girl had not been brought in a sack or bag, but nothing like this was found. The field unit took photographs of the spot. There parts of the woman’s burnt clothes were found. Their samples were taken.
The police officers instructed all the station in-charges in the night itself to get the details of the missing women of their area. Talks were held at Loni, Mussoorie, Sihani Gate. The woman is said to be missing from here. Police are looking for missing women aged 25 to 30.
