The incident, which occurred due to an old dispute between the two families, left Bhardwaj severely injured and hospitalized for a long time. According to the wife of accused KK Bhardwaj, Chitra Singh, he was deployed in Khoda Nagar Palika when the attack took place, and it was Reena Bhati’s brother who orchestrated the attack. The incident has sparked discussions across Western Uttar Pradesh.
