Ghaziabad – PWD engineer accuses IPS of harassing daughter
A PWD engineer living in a society in Indirapuram has complained on Twitter accusing a senior IPS officer posted in Prayagraj of harassing her daughter by calling her on mobile late at night. The Twitter handle of the UP Police has been asked to take cognizance of the matter. Along with this, the victim has also been advised to file a complaint with the Ghaziabad Police.
According to the complaint made on Twitter on Friday, the victim says that her daughter is being harassed by calling from different numbers. The troubled person is not a common man, but a senior IPS officer of UP Police. As soon as the number is blocked, the daughter is harassed by the IPS officer by calling from the new number.
The victim has complained in this regard on Twitter on Friday evening and tagging the Chief Minister, DGP Office, UP Police, IPS Association etc.
According to the police, after investigating the person from whose Twitter handle this complaint has been made, it has come to the fore that allegations and counter allegations are going on for the last three years. In March 2019, the same IPS officer was accused of demanding money. In the second case, serious charges were leveled against the sub-inspector of Ghaziabad Police and now in the third case, the daughter has been accused of harassing her by calling her at night.
