Ghaziabad News | The driver, going from Faridabad to Haridwar leaving the goods filled with copper in the truck, took out the GPS on the way and threw it and fled with the truck along with the goods. On coming to know about the transporter, informed the Mussoorie police. Police have arrested 6 people including the absconding truck driver. The stolen truck and copper goods were recovered from them.
CO Sadar Akash Patel said that on January 7, Sushil Kumar, a resident of Faridabad, had given a complaint to the Mussoorie police station about the truck driver absconding with the goods. During interrogation, it was found that Dheeraj alias Dhirendra, a resident of Etah, was driving Sushil Kumar’s truck for the last three years. On January 5, Dheeraj left Faridabad for Haridwar after filling 6 tonnes of copper cargo in a truck. The driver came near Mussoorie Peripheral with the intention of absconding with the truck, took out the GPS in the truck and threw it and stole the truck and the goods.
The truck operator informed this to the Mussoorie police. On the complaint of the victim, the police started the search. The police arrested the driver Dheeraj and Faridabad resident Kishan after tracing the last location of the GPS and the mobile location of the driver.
