Ghaziabad – Buses will be increased for four days from August 19 on Raksha Bandhan

Roadways has started preparations for Raksha bandhan. With the operation of additional buses for four days from August 19, the officials have decided to increase the frequency of buses on behalf of the department. Instructions have been given by the RM of Ghaziabad region to keep all the buses in good condition. During this, an additional team will also be deployed to ensure that the corona protocol is followed.

RM AK Singh said that in connection with the festival of Rakshabandhan, the ARMs of all the depots have been instructed to keep all the buses in order till August 17. About 200 buses will be operated from August 19. All buses will be run on on demand routes like Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Etah, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Bareilly, Agra, Moradabad, Prayagraj etc.

Buses plying on Lucknow, Kanpur, Faizabad, Dehradun, Rishikesh have been instructed to return immediately. So that more and more rounds can be made. He said that additional buses would be operated from Kaushambi Depot, Ghaziabad Depot, Anand Vihar, Kashmere Gate, Saraye Kale Khan, Loni Depot. 25 buses will be ready at each depot at a time.
