Ghaziabad News | Ghaziabad Cyber Cell and Service Line team have busted the gang manufacturing fake Aadhar cards by taking joint action. The gang members were running the fake Aadhar card center at Yamuna Market building in Express Market in Bus Adda Chowki area.
Two women are also among the arrested accused. Police have recovered a large number of Aadhar card making equipment and documents from them. This business of making fake Aadhar cards was going on in the express market. According to the police, the accused used to make Aadhar card on the basis of fake name and address with forged seal. This fraud was going on for the last one year. The accused have got more than 30 thousand fake Aadhar cards made in the last one year using rubber fingerprints and retina scanners. Police have found the role of companies making ID and login for Aadhaar suspicious, for this the police will send a report to UIDAI.
The accused used to target the slum dwellers and make their Aadhar cards. In return for making a complete Aadhar card, 5 thousand rupees and changing name and address used to take two-three thousand rupees. The gang members have generated around 30,000 G Aadhar cards so far.
The CO said that on Thursday and Friday, UIDAI officials reached Ghaziabad and interrogated the accused. A report has been sent to the authorities to cancel the Aadhaar card created by the accused. Along with this, the security and intelligence agencies have also been informed about the matter. UIDAI officials are scrutinizing the database of Aadhaar.
