Delhi – In Sagarpur area of New Delhi, a woman was kidnapped and gang-raped by miscreants on the pretext of a lift. The police have registered an FIR at Hari Nagar police station on the complaint of the victim.
According to police sources, the 34-year-old woman lives with her husband in Sagarpur area. On Sunday night, she got into a fight with her husband over some issue. The woman was leaving the house in anger and going to her relatives living in Uttam Nagar.
In the early hours, the woman called the police and told that two youths in a Wagon R car abducted her, raped her and fled after throwing her near the drain of Nihal Vihar. On this information, the police of Nihal Vihar police station reached the spot and questioned him. In which it was found that she had left from Sagarpur area. Nihal Vihar police took him to Sagarpur police station.
During interrogation, it was found that the accused had given him a lift in the car from Harinagar area. After that the woman was brought to Harinagar police station. Where the police got him medical done on his statement and registered a case in this regard. According to police officials, the car of the accused is being identified through the CCTV cameras installed on the route indicated by the woman.
