Delhi News – Delhi Metro to extend last train timing by 30-45 minutes on all lines, except the Airport Express Line, during Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium (Feroz Shah Kotla Ground) situated near Delhi Gate metro station, as per officials. The IPL matches are scheduled on April 4, 11, 20, and 29, and May 6, 13, and 20.
Officials have said that the plan for additional train announcements beyond normal times has been made in such a way that they will provide communication services in all directions from the Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Kashmiri Gate, Kirti Nagar, Indralok, and Lajpat Nagar interchange stations. For the convenience of commuters on match days, additional token vending machines, pre-vended token counters, and staff will also be deployed at the Delhi Gate metro station.
