Nagpur, India – March 6, 2024: Vidarbha has booked a place in the Ranji Trophy 2024 final after defeating Madhya Pradesh by 62 runs in the semi-final. They will now face 41-time champion Mumbai in the final, starting on March 10th.

Batting first, Vidarbha posted a total of 572 runs, with contributions from Aditya Sarvate (79) and Akshay Wadkar (59) in the first innings and Aman Mokhade (59) and Atharva Taide (56) in the second.

Vidarbha will now face Mumbai, the team with the highest number of Ranji Trophy titles (41). Mumbai secured their final berth by defeating Karnataka in the other semi-final.
This will be Vidarbha’s third Ranji Trophy final appearance, having emerged victorious in both their previous finals in 2017-18 and 2018-19.
