Noida News – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Kalindi Kunj SHO Bhushan Kumar Azad, Havildar Rakesh Yadav and constable Dinesh on charges of taking bribe. The three accused were demanding money to give permission for the construction.

The constable and the constable have been caught red handed while taking the money. Whereas on the basis of the recording found in the mobile of the constable, the station head has been arrested.

According to CBI Chief Spokesperson RC Joshi, a case was registered against the three policemen, including the police station in-charge Bhushan Kumar Azad. It is alleged that the SHO was demanding Rs.39 thousand from the victim through constable and constable. The accused were demanding bribe at the rate of Rs 500 per square yard for allowing the construction of boundary wall of a plot of about 132 square yards in Madanpur Khadar Extension Part-3. Later it was reduced to Rs 300 per square yard.

The CBI on Saturday laid a trap and caught the constable who took bribe of Rs 39,000 from the complainant in the presence of the constable. After this a recording was found in the constable’s mobile. Based on this recording, the SHO was arrested. Searches have been conducted at the official and residential premises of the arrested personnel.
