After ‘Singham’, the most popular khaki uniformed character of Hindi cinema, Ajay Devgan is going to become a police officer without uniform this time. The series is of only six episodes and in every episode, Rudra will be seen searching for a new criminal. Actors like Esha Deol, Rashi Khanna, Atul Kulkarni and Ashwini Kalsekar also managed to grab attention in the trailer of the series.
The web series ‘Rudra – The Age of Darkness’, made as a remake of the famous British web series ‘Luther’, is going to be released next month. In this series, Ajay Devgan will be seen doing the same role that the famous star Idris Elba has done in the original. Ajay Devgan says about this, ‘My endeavor has always been to tell different types of stories and work with well-skilled people.
The basic idea behind this is to raise the level of entertainment in India further. The digital world excites me and I am very excited about this series.
Most of the shooting of the web series ‘Rudra – The Age of Darkness’ has been done in Mumbai. And in this Mumbai is not kept as a background but as a character. Tarun Gehlot, Satyadeep Mishra and Ashish Vidyarthi are also going to appear in important roles in this series.
